The Jasper County Chamber of Commerce “Big Thursday” Oyster Roast is always held on the Thursday before the "Big" Clemson/Carolina football game.

There is always plenty to eat and drink as we serve all you can eat oysters, hamburgers, hot dogs, beer and soft drinks. This event includes lots of fun and music, and all guests are encouraged to show their colors and support their favorite team.

This year's event was held on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at the Jasper County Farmers' Market in Ridgeland from 6-9 pm.
