Jasper County Chamber of Commerce

Jasper County, the Gateway to the Lowcountry of South Carolina, is a land of diversity, opportunity and challenge. Interspersed among spreading moss covered oak trees, palmettos and thousands of acres of stately southern pine, thrives an active region of intense business and commerce, balanced against an appreciation for history, culture and just plain relaxation.

The county is steeped in rich heritage dating back to the native American Indians. More recently, thousands of tourists, many of whom have chosen to relocate, enjoy the mild climate and the pleasant surroundings of the South Carolina Lowcountry.

The Jasper County Chamber of Commerce, by action of its organization and through the work of its committees is dedicated to the objectives of stimulating growth and development of Jasper County and the State of South Carolina, and to the preservation of the American Way of Life, with special emphasis on advancing scientific, educational, charitable, commercial, civic, industrial, agricultural and general interest of the area it serves.

Jasper County Celebrates 100 Years with Centennial Celebration

Jasper County Courthouse, 358 Third Ave., Ridgeland SC.

Ceremony will be held in the courtyard between the Courthouse and the Government building at the fountain.

There will be a reception immediately following the ceremony at the offices of the Jasper County Chamber of Commerce/Jasper County Museum at 403 Russell Street, Ridgeland, SC. (located across from the courthouse.) Refreshments will be served. All are invited to attend.
